About the kit
The MP.4-25 was newly developed for 2010 in accordance with the new FIA rules. McLaren had already been thinking in terms of a double diffuser and completely rebuilt the rear of the Formula 1 car with a view to perfecting the aerodynamics. So now a long fin extends from the bonnet to the rear wing and the side pods that come together behind the cockpit despite a tank with a 160 litre volume are considerably narrower. The front also with its flat raised nose is also striking. By the 14th race, Lewis Hamilton, 2008 World Champion, had won three Grand Prix, including that in Canada. Also thanks to his second place in Great Britain, in the 2010 season he was regarded as the firm favourite for the driver's title.
